Kick Punch Sweat! Combines kicks and punches from Tae Kwon Do to form one of the best calorie burning workouts. It will improve your focus, increase your speed, make you more flexible, tone and strengthen your body and you might even learn a few self defense techniques. The best part of it all is that you are going to have FUN! TWO LEVELS OF WORKOUT Level 1: The Basic Workout For all beginners who are looking for the classic aerobic kickboxing workout. The class is a high impact class as you will be working on kick and punch combinations on a heavy bag (gloves mandatory). All classes will incorporate traditional exercises such as sit-ups, push ups, jump roping and stretching, followed by a muscle burning upper body toning workout with rubber resistant tubes. Level 2: Sparring Workout The second level of Kick Punch Sweat! involves actual sparring with another student. Purchase of sparring package is required for this class and you may start at this level at anytime. You will join our regular Tae Kwon Do sparring classes held every other week. You will learn competitive point sparring which involves light contact. The sparring workout improves your coordination, agility, foot work and overall stamina. Sparring is very safe due to the required safety gear and a great way to test your kickboxing skills. |
